We have two artists in residence who teach art across the school in our purpose-built art studio.
Miss Croft has worked with schools and organisations across Peterborough for a number of years as a Storyteller, Artist and Forest School Teacher. Her work seeks to engage people with art, nature and craftwork in new and exciting ways. Her own artwork focuses on exploring the relationship between the art world and the craft world, using mixed media as well as illustration and murals. She also works as a face and body painter for festivals and events across the country.
Mrs Hope has enjoyed many years travelling and teaching before settling with her family in Peterborough. After two years teaching Art at City College she decided to focus as an Art practitioner, using an extensive crafting background to develop a love of mixed media in her art. Recently she has focused on designing fused glass art, exploring ceramics and pottery. Her belief is that everyone has the potential to express themselves through art, and that art should be accessible to all.
Mrs Hope and Miss Croft have often worked together and both also work regularly in collaboration with other artists and organisations across Peterborough. Please come and say hello to them, they’d love to meet you.
