“Our greatest natural resource is in the minds of our children”
St John’s School Council
We value the opinions of our pupils and the School Council is a democratic way in which their voices can be heard.
A new school council is elected each September, with every class from Foundation Stage to Y6 nominating class representatives. The main committee consists of four Year 6 members who campaign for votes across the school and deliver a presentation as to why they should be elected.
This year’s committee comprise of:
Vice Chair: William
They meet every Wednesday morning along with Mrs Parkinson, Mrs Kent, Mrs Kornfeld and all class representatives.
The next meeting is on the 17th May to finalise plans for this year’s Health Week on June 5 – 9th 2017.
