A Night of Talent: Students Perform Romeo & Juliet

Writer's picture: Lucy KentLucy Kent
On the 8th of July, some of our Year 5 and 6 children had the wonderful opportunity to visit Bushfield as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company Associate School program. They performed segments of "Romeo & Juliet," showcasing their impressive talent.

We were fortunate to have some of our parents, teachers, and the vice chair of governors in the audience, who praised the students, saying, "They acted out the Masked Ball scene and were absolutely word perfect. Considering there were some very long soliloquies, it was even more commendable. And of course, the famous balcony scene. We certainly have some very talented students. I came away feeling very proud and privileged to be associated with them and St John’s."

Another round of applause for our actors!
