A visit from The Red Cross

This half term, Year 6 have been learning about refugees and asylum seekers and the huge impact decisions made by others, affect their lives. Today we had a visit from the British Red Cross. They developed our knowledge about why people might leave their countries and the challenges they face around the world and in the UK. It has motivated us to not only raise awareness of their challenges, but also to do some fundraising to support the charities' work. Watch this space to see what we come up with to help!
