Charity Shakespeare Evening

Writer's picture: Lucy KentLucy Kent
This term, Year 4 have taken part in an enriching activity (We Will Perform) with Ormiston Academy Trust (OAT). This culminated in a charity event, where the children shared their learning with parents and carers.

A number of schools within Peterborough have taken part in this funraising event, which will benefit the whole community. We will be able to buy books for the Preschool and the Peterborough Hospital.

The children showed how amazing they are at speaking and listening, as well at displaying their natural ability to act. Throughout the evening the children shared their work and had a real sense of pride about what they had achieved. In the near future, the children will have their work assessed and achieve the Discovery level of the Arts Award. Once accreditation has been confirmed we will hold a celebration assembly and present the children's awards.
