2LM had a lovely morning around the fire where they shared the story of The Magic Porridge Pot and made their own pot of porridge!!
While everyone took turns to read an extract from the book the porridge simmered away on the open fire. Once cooked, the children heartily tucked into their steaming bowls of porridge and discussed how morality, caring for others, humility and forgiveness were important throughout the story.
