For the last 2 weeks, Year 2 have been learning all about money and exploring what they can do with different coins.
They have identified the value of coins, compared coins, and tinkered with them to see how many ways they can make up different values. They came up with lots of creative ways to use as many or as few coins as possible to make amounts.
We are looking forward to setting up a classroom 'shop' in our next lesson to discover how to calculate change!
