Not meaning to blow our own trumpet...

Writer's picture: Simon HollingsworthSimon Hollingsworth

To start off this half term, Year 4 have done a fantastic job of getting stuck into their Music learning by continuing to learn their Anglo-Saxon chant and develop their trumpetting skills.

This has involved recalling the different types of notes we see in written music and remembering the valves that are used to make different notes.

The children showed an impressive knowledge of the instrument and remembered all the lyrics to their chant! Both myself and their music teacher were so impressed with how much they had remembered from last half term and are so excited to develop their performance skills ready for Christmas.
