On the 25th of July at 10am, Nene Park will host a free event for KS2 children organised by the National Literacy Trust. The event aims to encourage reading for pleasure and will feature an exciting lineup of activities. Mark Grist, an acclaimed author and poet, will deliver a captivating performance, while Ellie Sandall, a talented illustrator, will lead an engaging art workshop. Additionally, children can participate in a scavenger hunt, visit the children's library bus for storytelling and sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. Other activities include creating story sticks and receiving books and activity gifts. Join us for a fun-filled day dedicated to fostering a love for reading!
