This week we have been exploring multiplication and division. Fortunately the weather has been good enough to take our lessons outside!
We had to work in teams to share different amounts of cubes between different equal groups. We used chalk to draw the equal groups and write the matching division sentences. We also shared ourselves into equal groups to see how many different ways that we can divide 24! Our next step will be to look at how we can turn our division sentences and equal groups into arrays…
