As part of our topic work about "What makes us who we are?" Year 1 have started to think about our local community.
We have looked at the work of a local artist, Mahemuda Arsalani and we have designed and made our own beautiful mosaic rocks.
The children will be hiding the rocks around the local area during half term so keep your eyes peeled, you might find one! If you do we would love you to take a photo of it and send it to us, or bring it into school. We hope that our rocks send lots of love out to everyone in our local community!"
