Year 4 Achieve Gold Murray Award

Writer's picture: Lucy KentLucy Kent
The Year 4 children have completed the WeWill Protect project and achieved the Gold Murray award (amazing effort by all).

The children worked on a number of projects to look at how we can have a positive impact on our environment and look after it as well as the creatures who live there. We researched the ways in which we are not looking after the environment and planned ways that we could have a positive impact. Then, we worked with some Year 8 children from OBA to design our own gardens and created our own: bird homes, insect hotels, and bug hotels; which we will be placing around the school. Finally, we held a celebration activity at Ferry Meadows where we looked at the positive impact we can have on our local area if we try!
