Year 4 Shakespeare Evening

Year 4 completed a fundraising event last week as part of the WeWill Project, which they have been participating in this term.

They worked alongside Year 9 from Bushfield to present what they have been doing, and this included a mini workshop that some parents also joined in too!


With support from the parents and staff, we managed to raise over £130!

This will be used to donate child friendly Shakespeare books to Peterborough Hospital and our Pre-School, in order to continue promoting the work of Shakespeare in the community. The project has been a valuable opportunity as it has empowered the children to engage meaningfully with Shakespeare’s plays, increased their confidence when studying their chosen play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and enabled them to give back to the community in a variety of ways.


The children have worked incredibly hard, and we are proud of everything they have done.
